Research on the Symbolization Method of Single-Line Rivers Based on the River System Structure
2013 International Conference on Virtual Reality and Visualization, 2013In traditional map, considering only the river itself, we use fine line to thick line from upstream to downstream, but without the relationship of rivers. Paper assign the width of river based on the structural model of the water system, to avoid the conflicting situation, and realize the automatic drawing of river system by using the gradient method ...

Method for precise measurement of small parameter changes of single lines
Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section B: Beam Interactions with Materials and Atoms, 1984Abstract A precise measurement method, called Residual-Area-Analysis Method (RAAM), is described for Mossbauer-parameter changes of single symmetric or nearly symmetric lines with arbitrary shape. The method (useful in other fields as well) is a generalization of the q.a.d.s.

A method of single line diagram layout and optimization for regional distribution system based on GA
2018 Chinese Control And Decision Conference (CCDC), 2018A method of single line diagram layout and optimization for regional distribution system is proposed. Taking the minimum difference between the nodes number in a distribution line and the occupancy grids number in a path as the objective function, with well-designed crossover operator and mutation operator, the GA algorithm can be utilized to seek the ...

Single line correction method to remove aircraft roll errors in hyperspectral imagery
Journal of Applied Remote Sensing, 2008Hyperspectral data acquired using airborne push-broom sensors frequently contain geometric distortion caused by aircraft motion. This paper presents a simple single reference line algorithm to correct push-broom imagery for geometric distortions resulting from aircraft roll during the scan period.

Abstract A combined single‐line and multi‐line scanning method reduces the address period while maintaining image quality. This is important for realizing 4000 line TV displays. Peak signal to noise ratio of the test images exceeds 40 dB when the number of simultaneously scanned line is 2.

Single-line-to-ground (SLG) faults account for a large proportion of faults in the distribution network. Because of the asymmetry of parameters in the actual operation of power grid, the traditional criterion based on strict symmetry of system parameters may fail.

The peculiarities of detection using the location method of single-line-to-ground faults in the electricity transmission lines (ETLs) with 6–35 kV of tree topology and linear structures of 110 kV and higher have been studied. Ways of recognizing reflectograms if there is a fault in the ETL are presented.

An analytic method for the least-squares fitting of single-line thick-absorber Mössbauer spectra
Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1973Abstract A method is presented which expresses the integral for the Mossbauer thick-absorber line shape as a rapidly converging series. This method also permits calculation of the first derivatives of the absorption function so that the line-shape integral can easily be used for the least-squares fitting of experimental spectra.

In this paper, a novel fault location algorithm in distribution networks based on combination of impedance based method is presented. The voltage sag and current swell from the measurement node are used as input data to estimate the fault distance. To improve the accuracy of the proposed method, the voltage sag and current swell in the un-faulted phase
