FEATURES OF A FAULTY PHASE AT SINGLE PHASE-TO-GROUND FAULTS
Relevance Devices for determining the location of fault on power lines assume a known type of short circuit and faulty phases. However, their algorithms, as a rule, can not distinguish the faulty phase. Therefore, the determination of faulty phases during short circuits on power lines is performed by separate devices – faulty phase selectors.

Modelling and control of current full compensation system‐based controllable voltage source
Current active suppression technology of arc overvoltage in distribution network has small capacity of controllable voltage source and complex control and cannot flexibly adjust the zero‐sequence voltage of neutral point.

Modeling the operation of a medium voltage power grid with a compensated neutral at single-phase ground fault [PDF]
В статье разработана расчетная модель сети среднего напряжения с тремя фидерами в среде Matlab, которая позволяет моделировать работу сети в режиме однофазного замыкания на землю.

When the overhead line passes through the forest area, the conductor may contact the line to induce the tree-contact single-phase-to-ground fault (TSF), and the persistence of TSF may induce wildfires, bringing serious consequences.

Low-Resolution Fault Localization Using Phasor Measurement Units with Community Detection [PDF]
A significant portion of the literature on fault localization assumes (more or less explicitly) that there are sufficient reliable measurements to guarantee that the system is observable. While several heuristics exist to break the observability barrier,

Fault Path Direct-Current Resistance Based Off-Line Single-Phase-To-Ground Fault Location
In order to figure out the off-line transmission line fault location, a new fault location method based on fault path direct current resistance measurement is proposed.

Disruption of the distribution system is generally caused by a short circuit that causes overcurrent, one single phase short circuit to ground. Single phase to ground disturbances that occurred at the feeder should be secured by a ground fault relays in ...

An improved natural frequency based method is proposed to accurately locate faults in transmission lines. The method only requires three phase instantaneous current measurements at the local terminal of the line and is compatible with protective relays ...
