The category of Number in Basque: II. Prehistoriacal and typological aspects
In this second and last part of the article about the grammatical number in Basque, it is discussed what the state of affairs in prehistorical periods may have been like, taking historical data as a starting point.

Singular Reference Without Singular Thought [PDF]
Abstract In this paper I challenge the widespread assumption that the conditions for singular reference are more or less the same as the conditions for singular thought. I claim that we refer singularly to things without thinking singularly about them more often than it is usually believed.

This study addressed how a senior research thesis is perceived by undergraduate students. It assessed students' perception of research skills, epistemological beliefs, and career goals in Biochemistry (science) and BDC (science‐business) students. Completing a thesis improved confidence in research skills, resilience, scientific identity, closed gender‐

Positive solutions for nonlinear second-order m-point boundary-value problems
By constructing a special cone and applying the fixed index theory in the cone, we prove the existence of positive solutions for a class of singular m-point boundary-value problems.

Evaluating search engines and large language models for answering health questions
Search engines (SEs) have traditionally been primary tools for information seeking, but the new large language models (LLMs) are emerging as powerful alternatives, particularly for question-answering tasks.

Pathogenic Neurofibromatosis type 1 gene variants in tumors of non‐NF1 patients and role of R1276
Somatic variants of the neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) gene occur across neoplasms without clinical manifestation of the disease NF1. We identified emerging somatic pathogenic NF1 variants and hotspots, for example, at the arginine finger 1276. Those missense variants provide fundamental information about neurofibromin's role in cancer.

Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Existence of positive solutions to a singular boundary-value problem using variational methods
In this article, we study a class of nonlinear singular boundary-value problems. We show the existence of positive weak solutions by using variational methods.

Supramolecular fibrillation in coacervates and other confined systems towards biomimetic function
As in natural cytoskeletons, the cooperative assembly of fibrillar networks can be hosted inside compartments to engineer biomimetic functions, such as mechanical actuation, transport, and reaction templating.

HOMFLY-PT skein module of singular links in the three-sphere
For a ring $R$, we denote by $R[\mathcal L]$ the free $R$-module spanned by the isotopy classes of singular links in $\mathbb S^3$. Given two invertible elements $x,t \in R$, the HOMFLY-PT skein module of singular links in $\mathbb S^3$ (relative to the ...
