The BioSAXS laboratory of the ITACA.SB Research Infrastructure

open access: yesJournal of Applied Crystallography, EarlyView.
We present a versatile state‐of‐the‐art X‐ray scattering laboratory within the ITACA.SB Research Infrastructure, enabling multi‐scale structural characterization of complex biological specimens and advanced materials through integrated small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS) techniques.

Archiving the History of Environmentalism: Insights from Academia and Practice

open access: yesHistory, EarlyView.
Abstract This Forum considers the current state of archiving for the environmental movement at local, national and international levels. LGM glaciation in the northern Dinaric Mountains, Slovenia: new insights from terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide dating and Parallel Ice Sheet Model simulation

open access: yesBoreas, EarlyView.
The Dinaric Mountains are a mountain range stretching NW–SE from the Alps to the Albanides–Hellenides in central Europe. The highest parts were occupied by small ice fields and/or valley glaciers during the Quaternary cold periods, while even today some small glaciers still exist in topoclimatically favourable areas.

Sirius NLTE Updates and Improvements

open access: yes
Sirius A (Alpha Canis Majoris), with its slow rotation and stable atmospheric conditions, serves as an ideal candidate for 1-D stellar atmosphere spectral synthesis. Its mass, radius, and surface gravity are known with great precision (within 1%), making

MCL‐1 inhibition triggers a largely reversible cardiac stress signature in a humanised mouse model

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background and Purpose Myeloid cell leukaemia‐1 (MCL‐1) is an essential anti‐apoptotic protein and a promising therapeutic target in oncology. Early clinical studies of MCL‐1 inhibitors reported unexpected elevations in cardiac troponin, raising concerns about potential cardiotoxicity.
