Upon mitotic entry, RTN4 relocalizes to the pericentrosomal region, forming a more tubular ER network around centrosomes. CDK1‐mediated phosphorylation of RTN4 increases its interaction with Rab11 GTPase, facilitating dynein‐dependent transport of RTN4 to the pericentrosomal region.

Circulating plasma microRNAs can differentiate Human Sepsis and Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS) [PDF]
Systemic inflammation in humans may be triggered by infection, termed sepsis, or non-infective processes, termed non-infective systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS).

Cyclo‐Polyproline: Chameleonic All‐Peptide Macrocycles With Induced‐Fit Host‐Guest Recognition
Macrocycles served as the genesis of supramolecular chemistry, advancing synthetic, separation, and materials fields. Despite their utility, they typically lack synthetic control. This work establishes a robust platform for all‐peptide macrocycles capable of host‐guest complexation and chameleonic behavior.

TOPOLOGY INDEPENDENT SIRS PROCESS
A b s t r a c t: Following our recent work on the topology independent SIS spreading model [25, 26], in this article we analyze a SIRS type of a spreading processes, taking place on complex networks characterized by a special form of contact dynamics ...

THBS1+ Macrophages Exacerbate Modic Changes via SDC4‐Dependent Activation of NLRP3 Inflammasome
The illustration of THBS1+ macrophages exacerbate MCs via SDC4‐dependent activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. THBS1+ macrophage subpopulation was identified in MCs through single‐cell RNA sequencing. C. acnes and its metabolites activate THBS1 expression in macrophages via the TLR signaling pathway.

ABSTRACT Africa's cultural and colonial heritage has profoundly segmented rice markets. Whereas in ancient centers of rice domestication, consumers maintained preferences for local rice consistent with their cultural heritage, preferences have shifted toward imported Asian rice in coastal areas around seaports, due to prior exposure to colonial import ...
