The ability model of emotional intelligence: Principles and updates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This article presents seven principles that have guided our thinking about emotional intelligence, some of them new. We have reformulated our original ability model here guided by these principles, clarified earlier statements of the model that were ...

教師情境判斷測驗之編製 Construction of the Teacher Situational Judgment Test

open access: yesJournal of Research in Education Sciences, 2016

Enabling Stochastic Dynamic Games for Robotic Swarms

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This paper scales stochastic dynamic games to large swarms of robots through selective agent modeling and variable partial belief space planning. We formulate these games using a belief space variant of iterative Linear Quadratic Gaussian (iLQG). We scale to teams of 50 agents through selective modeling based on the estimated influence of agents ...

Gate‐Align‐SED: Semi‐Supervised Sound Event Detection via Adaptive Feature Gating and Cross‐Task Alignment in Situation Awareness

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Overview of the proposed Gate‐Align‐SED, including two stages of training: (1) Mean‐Teacher SSL Training; and (2) Enhancer Model Training. In complex real‐world environments such as disaster monitoring, effective sound event detection (SED) is often hindered by the presence of noise and limited labeled data.

Situational Judgment Tests as a method for measuring personality: Development and validity evidence for a test of Dependability.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
Situational Judgment Tests (SJTs) are criterion valid low fidelity measures that have gained much popularity as predictors of job performance. A broad variety of SJTs have been studied, but SJTs measuring personality are still rare.
