Effect of nucleotide on performance and slaughter traits in broiler chicks
The Indian Journal of Animal Sciences, 2014 The present study was conducted to evaluate the influence of nucleotide on performance values and slaughter traits in broiler chicks. The experimental diets consisted of T1 control (without nucleotide), diets T2, T3, T4 and T5 were control plus nucleotide @ 0.08% of diet for 7, 14, 28 and 42 days, respectively.

Agribusiness, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This paper asks whether municipalities with a larger export‐to‐revenue ratio display a more concentrated bundle of exported goods in Brazilian agribusiness. American Journal of Agricultural Economics, EarlyView.Abstract This paper derives a firm‐level threshold, the Herfindahl Neutral Point, from the standard concentration index used in merger review. At this threshold, a marginal expansion leaves the index unchanged. Firms below the threshold reduce concentration when they expand; firms above it increase concentration.

Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy, 1998 AbstractA survey of selected large pork slaughter and processing firms was conducted. Single‐ and double‐shift plant effects, varying capacity utilization effects, and multiple plant effects on fixed and variable costs are estimated. Two dollar per head reductions in operating costs were found for two‐shift versus single‐shift plants.
