Improved fast global sliding mode control based on the exponential reaching law

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2017
In order to improve the control performance of the global sliding mode control method, a fast global sliding mode control method is proposed to accelerate the response of the system by changing the exponential decay function in the sliding surface as an ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Global Terminal Sliding Mode Control With the Quick Reaching Law and Its Application

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In order to overcome the disadvantages of the conventional sliding mode reaching law, such as the large chattering and the slow convergence rate, an improved quick reaching law is proposed.

Multirate output feedback based digital redesign of sliding mode control algorithms

open access: yes, 2006
Though continuous-time sliding mode control has a variety of desirable properties, its discrete-time counterpart does not guarantee the same performance.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

A continuous integral terminal sliding mode control approach for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 2019
In this article, the continuous integral terminal sliding mode control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is investigated. First of all, based on homogeneous system theory, a global finite-time control law with simple structure is ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Disturbance attenuation–based sliding mode control with disturbance observer for mismatched uncertain system

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2017
A disturbance attenuation–based sliding mode control approach with an extended disturbance observer is proposed for systems with mismatched uncertainties. A novel adaptive sliding surface consisting of the disturbance estimation is presented to eliminate
