CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Probabalistic analysis of slope stability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In my graduation thesis I studied analysis of slope stability. Civil engineers predominantly use deterministic methods, however there are better ways to determine slope stability. The focus of my work was probabilistic analysis. I examined advantages and

PSEUDOSTATIC SLOPE STABILITY ANALYSIS

open access: yes, 2021
Earth embankments are required for railways, roadways, earth dams, leeves and river training works. Stability of these embankments or slopes needs to be thoroughly analysed. Their failure occurs in every conceivable manner, slowly or suddenly and with or

Analysis of Slope Stability Using Limit Equilibrium

open access: yesBulletin of the Polytechnic Institute of Jassy: Constructions, Architechture Section, 2010
In achievement of slope load sustainability using mixed soil technique, is considered acceptable the method for slope construction technology. This paper deals with evaluation of mixed soil technique for construction of stable slope and proves the soil ...

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Reliability analysis on the stability of slope [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Slope stability is one of the geotechnical subject most dominated by uncertainty. The current practice in slope stability analysis is based on the limit equilibrium and not directly addresses uncertainty.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Three dimensional slope stability analyses for natural and manmade slopes

open access: yes, 2011
Item released from any restrictions by Sarah Shreeves (sshreeve@illinois.edu) on 2013-05-26T10:00:17ZSlope stability analyses in practice mostly rely on limit equilibrium (LE) procedures rather than finite element (FE) or finite difference (FD ...

Modelling shallow landslides: the importance of hydrological controls and lateral reinforcement [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Shallow landslides are important as geomorphic agents of erosion, sources of catchment sediment and potential hazards to life and infrastructure. The importance of these mass movements is difficult to define using solely field- based approaches because ...

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...
