A Robust and Precise ConvNet for small non-coding RNA classification (RPC-snRC) [PDF]
Functional or non-coding RNAs are attracting more attention as they are now potentially considered valuable resources in the development of new drugs intended to cure several human diseases. The identification of drugs targeting the regulatory circuits of functional RNAs depends on knowing its family, a task which is known as RNA sequence ...

Viral RNA recognition by the Drosophila small interfering RNA pathway
Viral RNA is a common activator of antiviral responses. In this review, we dissect the mechanism of viral RNA recognition by the small interfering RNA pathway in Drosophila melanogaster. This antiviral response in fruit flies can help understand general principles of nucleic acid recognition.

Force Unfolding Single RNAs: from Equilibrium to Far-from Equilibrium [PDF]
We summarize the recent simulation progress of micromanipulation experiments on RNAs. Our work mainly consults with two important small RNAs unfolding experiments carried out by Bustamante group. Our results show that, in contrast to protein cases, using the single polymer elastic theory and the well known RNA secondary structure free energy knowledge,

Aquaporin 3 (AQP3) and phospholipase D2 (PLD2) are abnormally expressed and/or localized in squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). AQP3 transports glycerol to PLD2 for the synthesis of lipid second messenger, which can mediate the effect of the AQP3/PLD2 signaling module in the regulation of keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation.
