Evaluating the small-scale epidemiology of the stony-coral -tissue-loss-disease in the middle Florida Keys.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
Along the Florida reef tract, stony-coral-tissue-loss disease (SCTLD) has caused extensive mortality of more than 20 scleractinian coral species. The pathogen is unknown, but its epizoology indicates that the disease, facilitated by water currents, has ...

Association Between Dinutuximab Beta Exposure and Post‐End‐of‐Treatment Survival in Neuroblastoma: A Weighted Patient‐Level Analysis of Three Clinical Studies

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives The association between exposure to dinutuximab beta (DB) and event‐free survival (EFS) or overall survival (OS) of neuroblastoma patients was assessed using data collected during three clinical trials (five cohorts). Methods A systematic review (March 2026) was conducted to identify relevant studies (prospective; registered DB ...

Small Secret Key Attack on a Takagi's Variant of RSA

open access: yesIEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences, 2009
For a variant of RSA with modulus N = prq and ed ≡ 1 (mod(p-1)(q-1)), we show that d is to be recovered if d < N(2-√2)/(r+1). (Note that φ(N) ≠ (p-1)(q-1).) Boneh-Durfee's result for the standard RSA is obtained as a special case for r=1. Technically, we develop a method for finding a small root of a trivariate polynomial equation f(x, y, z)=x(y-1)(z-1)

Measurable Residual Disease Monitoring During Treatment for Pediatric Acute Myeloid Leukemia in First Relapse

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Survival after relapse in pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remains poor, highlighting the critical importance of identifying prognostic factors to guide optimal relapse management. Methods We investigated the prognostic impact of multiparameter flow cytometry (MFC) measurable residual disease (MRD) in 188 patients with first ...

Survival by Race and Ethnicity in Children and Adolescents/Young Adults With Relapsed/Refractory Hodgkin Lymphoma: A Pooled Analysis of Children's Oncology Group Trials

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Despite 5‐year survival rates of over 90% among children and adolescents/young adults (CAYAs) with classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL), 15%–20% relapse after frontline therapy. Prior analysis of frontline Children's Oncology Group (COG) clinical trials demonstrated that, despite similar rates of relapse, non‐Hispanic Black (NHB) and ...

ASSIST: Refinement of a Benefits Navigator Intervention Among Low‐Income Pediatric Oncology Families

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Children with cancer living in poverty experience worse survival and quality of life. Interventions connecting low‐income families to benefits (e.g., Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program [SNAP] improve health outcomes; yet nearly 50% of SNAP‐eligible pediatric oncology families are unenrolled.
