Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

Efficient Screening of Organic Singlet Fission Molecules Using Graph Neural Networks
A high‐throughput screening framework based on graph neural networks (GNNs) and multi‐level validation facilitates the identification of singlet fission (SF) candidates. By efficiently predicting excitation energies across 20 million molecules, and integrating TDDFT calculations, synthetic accessibility assessments, and GW+BSE calculations, this ...

Short and Long Term Smile Effects: The Binomial Normal Mixture Diffusion Model [PDF]
This paper extends the normal mixture diffusion (NMD) local volatility model of Brigo and Mercurio (2000, 2001a,b, 2002) so that it explains both short-term and long-term smile effects.

Dual‐Module Near‐Infrared Fluorophores Discovery System via Knowledge Transfer
This study presents a dual‐module deep learning system for the design of near‐infrared (NIR) fluorophores. A large molecular library is generated and analyzed, leading to the suggestions of promising candidates. The effectiveness of the system is further validated through the synthesis, characterization, and in vivo imaging, demonstrating its potential

Information with a smile – Does it increase recycling?
This work investigates the impact of human-human interaction on a target behaviour change by comparing the effect of programme delivery of a fixed set of tailored information via proximate but trivial interaction between subjects and volunteers, a set of

CLRe: A Synergistic Dual‐Engine Framework for One‐Step Retrosynthesis Prediction
CLRe uses a contrastive difficulty score to order pretrained seq2seq fine‐tuning for retrosynthesis. Reaction embeddings define the ranking score, and a cumulative easy‐to‐hard schedule expands from the easiest subset to the full training set while earlier examples remain active.

FX Smile in the Heston Model [PDF]
The Heston model stands out from the class of stochastic volatility (SV) models mainly for two reasons. Firstly, the process for the volatility is nonnegative and mean-reverting, which is what we observe in the markets.
