The Effect of Familiarity Among Social Partners on the Jumping Behavior of Amazon Mollies
Ethology, EarlyView.Pairs of familiar or nonfamiliar clonal Amazon mollies were tested in individual bowls, from which they could only escape from by jumping. Familiar pairs remained together significantly more than non‐familiar ones. Other behavioral aspects, such as timing and direction of jumps was not affected by familiarity.
