Cashew Nut Oil Improves Lipid Metabolism and Fat Liver Deposition in High‐Fat Diet‐Fed C57BL/6J Mice

open access: yesLipids, Volume 61, Issue 1, Page 121-132, January 2026.
Thirty C57BL/6J mice were fed a high‐fat diet for 12 weeks to induce metabolic changes. They were then switched to diets containing cashew nut oil, soybean oil, or lard for another 12 weeks. Soybean oil reduced blood glucose, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and liver steatosis.

Effect of Glucoraphanin on the Abundance of Nrf2 Regulated Genes Within Circulating Small Extracellular Vesicles: A Pilot Dietary Intervention

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, Volume 70, Issue 2, 29 January 2026.
Broccoli accumulates glucoraphanin, converted to sulforaphane, which activates nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related factor 2 (Nrf2), which may reduce age‐related inflammation. Given sulforaphane's rapid excretion, we hypothesised that its effects are mediated via plasma extracellular vesicles (EVs).

Nanozyme‐Integrated 3D‐Printed Gradient Scaffold Rescues Redox Homeostasis for Enhanced Osteochondral Repair

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
This work presents a novel 3D‐printed gradient scaffold for osteochondral repair. The implant features distinct layers, each designed for a specific therapeutic role: a cartilage layer protects tissue and a bone layer promotes regeneration. In vivo experiments confirm the scaffold's effectiveness, demonstrating its dual ability to maintain chondrocyte ...

Spatial Transcriptomic Characteristics of the Aging Human Ovary

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 1, January 2026.
Troughing constructing a comprehensive spatiotemporal aging atlas on young and aged human ovaries, we revealed distinct cell types, cellular interactions, and aging‐associated gene expression changes due to aging. Specially, we detected an increase in DLK1:NOTCH3 expression which may contribute to the dysregulation of ovarian functions.
