Super active regions and production of major solar flares
The success of imaging detectors with small fields of veiw such as HXIS or P/OF (Pinhole/Occulter Facility) depends heavily on pointing to the right place at the right time.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Surface Flux Transport Modeling Using Physics-informed Neural Networks
Studying the magnetic field properties on the solar surface is crucial for understanding the solar and heliospheric activities, which in turn shape space weather in the solar system.

Magnetohydrodynamic waves in structured atmospheres
The effect of structuring, in the form of magnetic or density inhomogeneities, on the magnetohydrodynamic (mhd) waves of an infinite plasma is investigated.

Mechanically origami‐coded 3D kirigami photovoltaics convert a single extension–release cycle into deterministic self‐folding, reconfiguring planar solar cells into programmable 3D modules. Distinct coding strategies enable either ultrahigh stretchability (500% system strain) or ultrahigh initial effective areal coverage (225%).

Observation-based Iterative Map for Solar Cycles. I. Nature of Solar Cycle Variability
Intercycle variations in the series of 11 yr solar activity cycles have a significant impact on both the space environment and climate. Whether solar cycle variability is dominated by deterministic chaos or stochastic perturbations remains an open ...

The location and kinematics of the emission line regions in Active Galactic Nuclei [PDF]
This thesis contains the results from a study of the optical emission lines of various samples of active galactic nuclei (AGN). We have used three separate techniques to determine the precise kinematics and the relative location of the emission line ...

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

Toward a Robust Estimate of the Solar Photospheric Poynting Flux and Helicity Flux
The observed solar photospheric magnetic fields and Doppler velocities are frequently used to quantify the Poynting flux and helicity flux. Multiple methods have been developed for this purpose, but their estimates of the Poynting flux and helicity flux ...
