DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGY AND RECIPE FOR BEVERAGE BASED ON DRIED FRUITS [PDF]

open access: yesТехника и технология пищевых производств, 2015
Dry fruits raw material is rich in biologically active substances, micro and macro elements, and is perfect for production of soft drinks. Dried fruits based beverage (compote) is a tasty, useful and at the same time easy to pre-pare traditional dessert.

Investigations into wastewater composition focusing on nonwoven wet wipes

open access: yesTechnical Transactions, 2017
This paper summarizes the problems caused for wastewater systems by changing wastewater composition, especially the increasing use of nonwoven wet wipes and their disposal via the toilet.

Quasi-quantized Hall response in bulk InAs

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
The quasi-quantized Hall effect (QQHE) is the three-dimensional (3D) counterpart of the integer quantum Hall effect (QHE), exhibited only by two-dimensional (2D) electron systems.

Theory of amorphous ices

open access: yes, 2014
We derive a phase diagram for amorphous solids and liquid supercooled water and explain why the amorphous solids of water exist in several different forms.

On shock waves in solids [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This paper describes some recent theoretical results pertaining to the experimentally-observed relation between the speed of a shock wave in a solid and the particle velocity immediately behind the shock. The new feature in the present analysis is the

Solid inflation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2013
We develop a cosmological model where primordial inflation is driven by a 'solid', defined as a system of three derivatively coupled scalar fields obeying certain symmetries and spontaneously breaking a certain subgroup of these. The symmetry breaking pattern differs drastically from that of standard inflationary models: time translations are unbroken.

Do solids flow?

open access: yes, 2010
Are solids intrinsically different from liquids? Must a finite stress be applied in order to induce flow? Or, instead, do all solids only look rigid on some finite timescales and eventually flow if an infinitesimal shear stress is applied?

Dexamethasone for Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting Prevention in Pediatric Patients: International Consensus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background An international Delphi panel of experts developed consensus statements to delineate the circumstances where the risks of dexamethasone as an antiemetic do and do not outweigh its benefits. Procedure Experts in supportive care of pediatric patients were invited to participate.

Real‐World Pediatric Blinatumomab Administration: Access to Outpatient Care Delivery and Impact of a Hospital‐Dispensed Model

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Blinatumomab has been shown to be highly effective for patients with pediatric B‐ALL and has recently become standard of care therapy. Due to its past use in the clinical trial setting, there is limited information available about real‐world administration.

Large linear non-saturating magnetoresistance and high mobility in ferromagnetic MnBi

open access: yesNature Communications, 2021
Ferromagnetic systems rarely display a large or non-saturating magnetoresistance, due to the low Fermi velocity of the predominant charge carrier. Here, the authors show that MnBi, a ferromagnet, bucks this trend, showing both large and non-saturating ...
