Minor effect of physical size sorting on iron solubility of transported mineral dust [PDF]
Observations show that the fractional solubility of Fe (FS-Fe, ratio of dissolved to total Fe) in dust aerosol increases dramatically from ~0.1% in regions of high dust mass concentration to 80% in remote regions where concentrations are low.

Effect of a mixture of caffeine and nicotinamide on the solubility of vitamin (B2) in aqueous solution [PDF]
The effect of caffeine (CAF) and nicotinamide (NMD) on the solubility of a vitamin B2 derivative (FMN) has been evaluated for mixtures containing either a single hydrotrope (CAF or NMD) or the two hydrotropes simultaneously.

The cancellation law is a necessary condition for a semigroup to be embedded in a group. In general, this condition is not sufficient; necessary and sufficient conditions are rather complicated (see [1]). It is, therefore, of interest to find large classes of semigroups for which the cancellation law is sufficient to ensure embeddability in a group.
