Soluble programmed cell death-1 predicts hepatocellular carcinoma development during nucleoside analogue treatment

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Soluble immune checkpoint molecules are emerging novel mediators of immune regulation. However, it is unclear whether soluble immune checkpoint proteins affect the development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) during nucleos(t)ide analogue (NA) treatment

Analysis of soluble proteins in comedones

open access: yesActa Dermato-Venereologica, 1977
The detergent-soluble fraction of purified, concentrated comedo samples was analysed for protein by disc-gel electrophoresis and fluorescamine assay. Spectrophotometer scanning revealed a characteristic pattern of 14 peaks which was essentially uniform in comedones from individuals having acne, Favre-Racouchot syndrome, or prepubertal comedones.

Temporal patterns of vitelllogenin synthesis and uptake as well as vitellin degradation in Nasonia vitripennis (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae)

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2005
Temporal patterns of vitellogenin (Vg) synthesis and uptake as well as vitellin (Vn) degradation in Nasonia vitripennis (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae), an ectoparasitic wasp of fly pupae, were studied using the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ...

Soluble Flt-1 and PlGF: new markers of early pregnancy loss? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Recent data have indicated a relationship between placental oxygen and angiogenic protein levels in the first trimester of normal pregnancies. Our objective was to investigate if maternal serum levels of angiogenic factors Soluble vascular endothelial ...

Analysis of Sogatella furcifera (Horvath) soluble proteins by SDS-PAGE [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The soluble proteins from nymphs and adults of Sogatella furcifera were analyzed by SDS-PAGE. The number of protein bands increased gradually as the nymphs developing, such as six and 14 protein bands were found in 3rd-instar nymphs and 5th-instar nymphs

Two novel heat-soluble protein families abundantly expressed in an anhydrobiotic tardigrade.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2012
Tardigrades are able to tolerate almost complete dehydration by reversibly switching to an ametabolic state. This ability is called anhydrobiosis. In the anhydrobiotic state, tardigrades can withstand various extreme environments including space, but ...

Expression screening of fusion partners from an E. coli genome for soluble expression of recombinant proteins in a cell-free protein synthesis system. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2011
While access to soluble recombinant proteins is essential for a number of proteome studies, preparation of purified functional proteins is often limited by the protein solubility.

Editorial: Protein Solubility and Aggregation in Bacteria [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2016
For many years, the aggregation of proteins and polypeptides remained a neglected area of protein chemistry. It was only with the discovery that the insoluble deposits found in the organs and tissues of patients suffering from different diseases were enriched in a single, but different polypeptide, that the interest in understanding how and why these ...

Helical Packing Patterns in Membrane and Soluble Proteins [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This article presents the results of a detailed analysis of helix-helix interactions in membrane and soluble proteins. A data set of interacting pairs of helices in membrane proteins of known structure was constructed and a structure alignment algorithm ...

THE EFFECT OF GROWTH REGULATORS AND PRESERVATIVE ON SENESCENCE OF CUT ORIENTAL LILY ‘HELVETIA’

open access: yesActa Scientiarum Polonorum: Hortorum Cultus, 2012
The quality of cut lily flowers during its postharvest life is important both for growers and customers. It is determined by two factors: longevity of flowers and a general appearance of the entire cut stem during its vase life. The aim of this work was
