On solvable groups

open access: yesMathematische Annalen, 1986
Some properties of H. C. Wang's splitting are investigated. We look into some applications of L. Auslander's semisimple splitting and derive some splittings based on the same idea. In the last part of the paper, full subgroups of simply connected solvable analytic groups whose exponential maps are bijective are studied.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Regularity and K0-group of quadric solvable polynomial algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Concerning solvable polynomial algebras in the sense of Kandri-Rody and Weispfenning [J. Symbolic Comput. 9 (1990) 1-26], it is shown how to recognize and construct quadric solvable polynomial algebras in an algorithmic way.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Example of a six-dimensional LCK solvmanifold

open access: yesComplex Manifolds, 2017
The purpose of this paper is to prove that there exists a lattice on a certain solvable Lie group and construct a six-dimensional locally conformal Kähler solvmanifold with non-parallel Lee form.

Solvable and nilpotent right loops

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper the notions of solvable right transversal and nilpotent right transversal are defined. Further, it is proved that if a core-free subgroup has a generating solvable transversal, then the whole group is solvable.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

A flag transitive plane of order 49 and its translation complement

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1991
The translation complement of the flag transitive plane of order 49 [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 32 (1972), 256-262] constructed by Rao is computed. It is shown that the flag transitive group itself is the translation complement and it is a solvable group of ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...
