Solvent‐Free Photobiocatalytic Hydroxylation of Cyclohexane [PDF]

open access: yesChemCatChem, 2020
AbstractThe use of neat reaction media, that is the avoidance of additional solvents, is the simplest and the most efficient approach to follow in biocatalysis. Here, we show that unspecific peroxygenase from Agrocybe aegerita (AaeUPO) can hydroxylate the neat model substrate cyclohexane.

Scalable solvent-free production of liposomes [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, 2020
Abstract Objectives A major challenge faced with the manufacture of liposomes is the high volumes of organic solvents used during manufacturing. Therefore, we have implemented an organic solvent-free production method for drug-loaded liposomes and demonstrated its applicability with both aqueous core ...

Solvent free permanganate oxidations [PDF]

open access: yesTetrahedron Letters, 2001
Abstract The oxidations of organic compounds by permanganate under solvent free conditions have been studied. Thiols and primary aromatic amines undergo oxidative coupling reactions to give disulfides and diazenes, respectively, sulfides are oxidized to sulfones, primary and secondary alcohols are converted to aldehydes and ketones, 1,4-diols and ...
