Isohexide and sorbitol-derived, enzymatically synthesized renewable polyesters with enhanced Tg [PDF]
Sugar-based polyesters derived from sorbitol and isohexides were obtained via solvent-free enzymatic catalysis. Pendant hydroxyl groups, coming from the sorbitol units, were present along the polyester backbone, whereas the two isohexides, namely ...

Mechanochemical Solvent‐Free Catalytic C−H Methylation [PDF]
AbstractThe mechanochemical, solvent‐free, highly regioselective, rhodium‐catalyzed C−H methylation of (hetero)arenes is reported. The reaction shows excellent functional‐group compatibility and is demonstrated to work for the late‐stage C−H methylation of biologically active compounds.

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Osteosarcoma is a radioresistant tumor that may benefit from stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for locoregional control in metastatic/recurrent disease. We report institutional practice patterns, outcomes, toxicity, and failures in osteosarcoma patients treated with SBRT.

Organic synthesis under solvent-free condition: an environmentally benign procedure - I [PDF]
A review. The growing concern to minimize the environmental pollution caused by solvents and the increasing interest in solid-solid reactions have led to the development of methodologies for solvent-free reactions with considerable success.

Lifestyle Behaviors and Cardiotoxic Treatment Risks in Adult Childhood Cancer Survivors
ABSTRACT Background Higher doses of anthracyclines and heart‐relevant radiotherapy increase cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. This study assessed CVD and CVD risk factors among adult childhood cancer survivors (CCSs) across cardiotoxic treatment risk groups and examined associations between lifestyle behaviors and treatment risks.

Free Energy, Enthalpy and Entropy from Implicit Solvent End-Point Simulations
Free energy is the key quantity to describe the thermodynamics of biological systems. In this perspective we consider the calculation of free energy, enthalpy and entropy from end-point molecular dynamics simulations. Since the enthalpy may be calculated

Metal-free cross-coupling reaction of aldehydes with disulfides by using DTBP as an oxidant under solvent-free conditions [PDF]
A DTBP-promoted C–H thiolation of aldehydes with disulfides under metal-free and solvent-free conditions is described. The system shows good functional group tolerance to afford thioesters in moderate to excellent yields.

ABSTRACT We present two pediatric cases of pediatric low‐grade gliomas (PLGG) with BRAF V600E mutations diagnosed and monitored using cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy analyzed via digital droplet PCR (ddPCR), without tissue biopsy. Both patients were treated with dabrafenib and trametinib and monitored through clinical assessments, magnetic ...
