Three-Dimensional Flow of Maxwell Fluid with Soret and Dufour Effects

Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2016
AbstractThis paper reports the heat and mass transfer effects in three-dimensional flow of a Maxwell fluid over a stretching surface with convective boundary conditions. Analysis is carried out in the presence of mass transfer with first-order chemical reactions, and with Soret and Dufour effects.

Soret and Dufour effects in the flow of viscous fluid by a curved stretching surface

Pramana, 2020
The main focus in this study is to study the flow of a viscous fluid through a curved stretched surface. Soret and Dufour effects along with Joule heating are incorporated. Appropriate transformations yield the nonlinear ordinary differential system. Convergent series solutions of velocity, temperature and concentration are constructed.

Soret and Dufour effects in MHD peristalsis of pseudoplastic nanofluid with chemical reaction

Journal of Molecular Liquids, 2016
Abstract Soret and Dufour effects on the peristaltic flow of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) pseudoplastic nanofluid in a tapered asymmetric channel have been analyzed in this article. Effects of first order chemical reaction, Brownian motion and thermophoresis are also considered.

Soret and Dufour effects on convective instabilities in binary nanofluids for absorption application

International Journal of Refrigeration, 2007
Abstract Thermodiffusion (Soret effect) and diffusionthermo (Dufour effect) effects on convective instabilities in nanofluids have been theoretically investigated. Thermodiffusion implies that mass diffusion is induced by thermal gradient, which is so-called the Soret effect.

Soret and Dufour effects on flow in converging and diverging channels with chemical reaction

Aerospace Science and Technology, 2016
Abstract Heat and mass transfer analysis for the flow of viscous incompressible fluid in converging and diverging channel with chemical reaction is presented. Soret and Dufour effects are considered to analyze the thermal-diffusion and diffusion-thermo effects. Influences of first order chemical reaction are also studied.

Heat and Mass Transfer with Soret/Dufour Effect in Irregular Porous Cavity

Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer, 2019
An investigation of heat and mass transfer in an irregular square porous cavity is examined. The porous cavity has a square shape with an isothermal heater, having a temperature Th at the middle of...
