Supramolecular Lubricating Hydrogel Microspheres Reshape Damaged Matrix Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The supramolecular lubricating hydrogel microspheres can provide stable mechanophysical protection at damaged matrix through interfacial hydration lubrication: in the early and middle stages, microspheres can actively provide microscale supramolecular lubrication (µ ≈ 0.04) for damaged matrix; in the late stage, the wear debris induced by shear and ...

Antioxidant and Antimicrobial properties of Glycine Max-A review [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Vegetable soybean is rich in phytochemicals beneficial to the human being and is therefore considered a neutraceutical or a functional food crop. Soybean as a “functional food” that reduces the risk of range of hazardous diseases like atherosclerosis ...

Relationship of soybean and soybean meal quality

open access: yes, 2020
Since the mid-1970s, the U.S. acreage for growing soybean, the average soybean yield per acre, as well as the average soybean meal production per year have been increasing; however, the U.S. has continued to lose world trade share for those commodities since the mid-'70s.

PRC1‐Mediated H2Aub Loop Formation and Function in Arabidopsis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the Arabidopsis genome, H2Aub and H3K27me3 marks do not always co‐localize, and some regions are marked exclusively by H2Aub. By using Capture‐Hi‐C, it is found that H2Aub loops are preferentially established between two H2Aub enriched regions.

GmSop20 Functions as a Key Coordinator of the Oil‐To‐Protein Ratio in Soybean Seeds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates the seed oil‐to‐protein ratio as a comprehensive quality metric and identifies GmSop20 as a crucial regulatory gene through forward genetics methodologies. By integrating GmSop20 with superior haplotypes and using gene editing/overexpression, new strategies are provided for precisely tuning the seed oil‐to‐protein ratio, thereby

Peptide Hormone‐Mediated Regulation of Plant Development and Environmental Adaptability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this review, recent advances in understanding the roles of plant peptide hormones in regulating growth, reproduction, and environmental adaptability are systematically summarized. It further elucidates the challenges in studying these peptides, such as their low abundance, functional redundancy, and complex signaling mechanisms, and highlights their
