TRIM: Simultaneous Thermometry, Ranging, and Imaging via a Monolithic Metalens

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While metasurfaces offer a pathway beyond the discrete architectures of conventional LWIR systems, physically fusing high‐precision thermometry and passive ranging onto a single metalens remains a formidable challenge. Here, we demonstrate a monolithic, dual‐focus metalens capable of simultaneous multidimensional sensing.

Opportunities, challenges and requirements for introducing space division multiplexing in fibre optical networks

open access: yesIET Optoelectronics
In the long‐term, enabling data transmission over additional wavelength bands offered by the installed fibre infrastructure is not sufficient to satisfy the continuously increasing demand for capacity.

Noninvasive Characterization of Tumor Heterogeneity in HNSCC: From Clinical Utility to Biological Correlates

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes a CT‐based radiomics framework to quantify intratumoral heterogeneity (ITH) in HNSCC. Using unsupervised clustering, tumor ROIs and VOIs are analyzed to calculate 2D/3D ITH scores. The score shows strong predictive value for prognosis and immunotherapy response, and is associated with tumor metabolism and immune microenvironment,

SSR4 sustains Tertiary Lymphoid Structures by Regulation Quality Control of N‐linked Glycosylation During B‐cell Differentiation Into Plasmacyte in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SSR4, a TRAP component induced in B cells, governs BAFFR N‐glycosylation via DDOST to sustain NF‐κB signaling, B‐cell differentiation, and TLS maturation. Its loss impairs anti‐tumor immunity, while overexpression improves antibody glycosylation and ADCC, revealing a critical regulator for cancer immunotherapy.

Spatial and Wavelength Division Joint Multiplexing System Design for MIMO-OFDM Visible Light Communications

open access: yesIEEE Access
The low-pass characteristics of front-end elements including light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and photodiodes (PDs) limit the transmission data rate of visible light communication (VLC) and Light Fidelity (LiFi) systems.

Space-Time Block Coded Adaptive Modulation Aided OFDM

open access: yes, 2001
Space-time block codes provide substantial diversity advantages for multiple transmit antenna systems at a low decoding complexity. In this contribution, we investigate the achievable diversity advantages in the context of adaptive modulation aided turbo

Layered Steered Space–Time-Spreading-Aided Generalized MC DS-CDMA

open access: yes, 2010
—We present a novel trifunctional multiple-input– multiple-output (MIMO) scheme that intrinsically amalgamates space–time spreading (STS) to achieve a diversity gain and a Vertical Bell Labs layered space–time (V-BLAST) scheme to attain a multiplexing ...

PGK1 Suppresses CD8+ T Cell‐Mediated Antitumor Immunity Through CCL2/CCR2/Tumor‐Associated Macrophages Axis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PGK1 in tumor cells upregulates CCL2 expression through activation of the AKT/GSK‐3β/β‐catenin signaling axis, thereby promoting the recruitment and M2 polarization of TAMs and ultimately impairing the infiltration and activation of CD8+ T cells within the HCC tumor microenvironment. ABSTRACT Patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) have a
