Detecting Plastic Debris from Space
Prove plastic detection in river, dams and canals is possible using non-commercial satellites. Make use of Google Earth Engine (GEE) to access and process large time-series of Sentinel-2 data on the cloud. Estimate surface occupied by plastic debris at sub-pixel level using spectral unmixing.

“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.
