Compact Analytic Two-Gaussian Representation of Universal Short-Range Coulomb Correlations in Soft-Core Fluids

open access: yesAxioms
Soft-core Coulomb fluids, exemplified by the two-dimensional Gaussian-charge one-component plasma, serve as fundamental benchmarks for both mathematical theory and computational modeling of coarse-grained dynamics, including stochastic density functional

On the global solvability of linear partial differential equations with constant coefficients in the space of real analytic functions [PDF]

open access: yesBanach Center Publications, 1996
This article surveys results on the global surjectivity of linear partial differential operators with constant coefficients on the space of real analytic functions. Some new results are also included. 0. Introduction. In this talk, we first briefly review in §1 the old subject of general surjectivity of a linear partial differential operator P (D) with

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

On generalized shifts of the Mellin transform of the Riemann zeta-function

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
In this article, we consider the asymptotic behaviour of the modified Mellin transform Z(s){\mathcal{Z}}\left(s), s=σ+its=\sigma +it, of the Riemann zeta-function using weak convergence of probability measures in the space of analytic functions defined ...

Automated FRAP microscopy for high‐throughput analysis of protein dynamics in chromatin organization and transcription

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
RoboMic is an automated confocal microscopy pipeline for high‐throughput functional imaging in living cells. Demonstrated with fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), it integrates AI‐driven nuclear segmentation, ROI selection, bleaching, and analysis.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Heat and Laplace type equations with complex spatial variables in weighted Bergman spaces

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
In a recent book, the authors of this paper have studied the classical heat and Laplace equations with real time variable and complex spatial variable by the semigroup theory methods, under the hypothesis that the boundary function belongs to the ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Chameleon sequences reveal structural effects in proteins representing micelle‐like distribution of hydrophobicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status
