Heat and Laplace type equations with complex spatial variables in weighted Fock spaces
In a recent book co-authored by the authors of this article, we studied by semigroup theory methods several classical evolution equations, including the heat and Laplace equations, with real time variable and complex spatial variable, under the ...

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Frequently hypercyclic weighted backward shifts on spaces of real analyticfunctions
Summary: We study frequent hypercyclicity in the case of weighted backward shift operators acting on locally convex spaces of real analytic functions. We obtain certain conditions on frequent hypercyclicity and linear chaoticity of these operators using dynamical transference principles and the frequent hypercyclicity criterion.

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

DeWitt wave functions for de Sitter JT gravity
Jackiw-Teitelboim (JT) gravity in two-dimensional de Sitter space is an intriguing model for cosmological “wave functions of the universe”. Its minisuperspace version already contains all physical information.

Childhood in the novel Sjećanje šume [Remembering Forest] by Damir Karakaš
By employing the analytic framework of psychemic, sociemic narrative figures in the novel, we conducted a detailed description of the characters, focusing particularly on the boy who also takes on the role of the novel’s protagonist.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.
