A Proposal for a Multi-Drive Heterogeneous Modular Pipe- Inspection Micro-Robot [PDF]
This paper presents the architecture used to develop a micro-robot for narrow pipes inspection. Both the electromechanical design and the control scheme will be described. In pipe environments it is very useful to have a method to retrieve information of

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Taxanes are widely used chemotherapeutics whose effects on cellular mechanics remain poorly understood. We show that paclitaxel induces rapid cellular contraction by promoting GEF‐H1 dissociation from microtubules and non‐muscle myosin II activation through RhoA/ROCK.

Vibration Suppression Control of a Space Robot with Flexible Appendages Based on Simple Dynamic Model [PDF]
This paper discusses a vibration suppression control method for a space robot with a rigid manipulator and flexible appendage. A suitable dynamic model that considers the coupling between the manipulator and flexible appendage was developed for the ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

The DLR Telepresence Experience in Space and Surgery [PDF]
High-fidelity telepresence is considered to be a key subject for the development of advanced robotic applications in space and surgery. The fact that there are only few robots in space and surgery is mainly due to the lack of broadly available ...
