A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

Mapping properties that preserve convergence in measure on finite measure spaces
\((X, \mathcal{M}, \mu)\) is a finite measure space with associated outer measure \( \mu^{*}\): for any \(A \subset X, \mu^{*}(A) = \inf \{ \mu(B): B \in \mathcal{M}, B \supset A \}\), and \((Y, d_{Y})\) is a metric space. A function \( f: X \to Y\) is said to be \(\mathcal{M}\)-measurable if \( f^{-1} (U) \in \mathcal{M}\) for every open set \(U\) in \

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Cylinder measures over vector spaces [PDF]
In this paper we present a theory of cylinder measures from the viewpoint of inverse systems of measure spaces. Specifically, we consider the problem of finding limits for the inverse system of measure spaces determined by a cylinder measure μ over a ...

Convergence of p-adic pluricanonical measures to Lebesgue measures on skeleta in Berkovich spaces
Let $K$ be a non-archimedean local field, $X$ a smooth and proper $K$-scheme, and fix a pluricanonical form on $X$. For every finite extension $K'$ of $K$, the pluricanonical form induces a measure on the $K'$-analytic manifold $X(K')$. We prove that, when $K'$ runs through all finite tame extensions of $K$, suitable normalizations of the pushforwards ...

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Finitely Additive Equivalent Martingale Measures [PDF]
Let L be a linear space of real bounded random variables on the probability space (omega,A, P0). There is a finitely additive probability P on A, such that P tilde P0 and EP (X) = 0 for all X in L, if and only if cEQ(X) = ess sup(-X), X in L, for some ...

Building machine‐readable vocabularies for materials science is slow, expert‐driven work. This study benchmarks 13 large language models on two of its first steps: finding candidate terms in engineering articles and deciding where they belong in a class hierarchy.
