Proceedings of the 16th International Conference on 3D Web Technology, 2011
In audio-graphic scenes, visual and audio modalities are synchronized in time and space, and their behaviour is determined by a common process. We present here a novel way of modeling audio-graphic content for interactive 3D scenes with the concept of sound processes and their activation through 2D or 3D profiles.

Spatial Audio and Room Acoustics
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2011Schroeder’s interest in the behavior of sound in small enclosures eventually lead to the use of statistical methods of digital signal processing to estimate and track a room’s response for echo control. He showed that a small frequency shift (5 Hz) in a loudspeaker-enclosure-microphone system could be used to mitigate the coupling feedback in public ...

Spatial audio technology for telepresence
BT Technology Journal, 1997As people start to exploit new telepresence technologies to meet and work, they will be able to exploit all of their senses as they transmit, receive, and monitor information. An essential part of such three-dimensional spaces is the audio landscape. People are able to detect a wide variety of sounds and separate them in space.

Mobile spatial audio interfaces
Proceedings of the 9th international conference on Human computer interaction with mobile devices and services, 2007For an increasing amount of people (especially young people), the mobile phone, and not the computer, is becoming their main media device and portal to the virtual world. Mobile phones have become a ubiquitous technology and for many people an important tool for communication and information access.
