Investigation of the Spatial Resolution and Field of View with Change of Magnification in VRX CT [PDF]
Introduction: Variable resolution x-ray (VRX) CT is a new type of CT that can image objects at various spatial resolutions. In a VRX CT scanner, the spatial resolution increases at the cost of reduction in the field of view (FOV).

3D spatial resolution characterization for volumetric computed tomography
Spatial resolution is a key parameter that determines the smallest resolved scale in volumetric computed tomography. However, the evaluation process is typically confined within a plane, and tomographic resolution is usually treated as a two dimensional ...

Spatial Resolution of Coherent Cathodoluminescence Super-Resolution Microscopy [PDF]
We investigate the nanoscale excitation of Ag nanocubes with coherent cathodoluminescence imaging spectroscopy (CL) to resolve the factors that determine the spatial resolution of CL as a deep-subwavelength imaging technique. The 10-30 keV electron beam coherently excites localized plasmons in 70 nm Ag cubes at 2.4 and 3.1 eV.

We first propose and demonstrate a novel approach for achieving a focused laser differential interferometer (FLDI) system with tunable spatial resolution. The spatial resolution of the FLDI can be adjusted continuously between 83 μm and 382 μm.
