Mapping the Metabolic Characteristics and Perturbation of Adult Casper Zebrafish by Ambient Mass Spectrometry Imaging

open access: yesMetabolites
Casper, a type of transparent mutant-line zebrafish, was generated to overcome the opaque trunk of an adult zebrafish for tumor modeling to realize real-time visualization of transplanted cells in vivo. However, the molecular information at the metabolic

A transparent window into the rhizosphere: a simplified workflow for spatially resolved soil metabolomics

open access: yes
Abstract Root exudates play a central role in nutrient cycling, microbial recruitment, and plant-plant interactions, yet most experimental approaches for analyzing exudate chemistry rely on sterile hydroponic systems that poorly represent soil conditions.

Cobalt Single‐Atom Nanozyme for Enhanced Intestinal Radioprotection and Tumor Radiosensitization via Bidirectional ROS Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Orally administered, pH‐responsive Co‐SAN exerts dual functions: in the alkaline intestinal milieu, it scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and suppresses the PI3K/AKT pathway and NETs formation, thus providing radioprotection; whereas in the acidic tumor microenvironment, it generates ROS and alleviates hypoxia, thereby enhancing radiosensitization.

Ti‐Doping Activates Adjacent Zr Sites in Bimetallic MOFs for Cooperative Phospholipid Removals in Human Biomonitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ti‐doped Zr/Ti bimetallic MOFs activate neighboring Zr sites to selectively capture phospholipids from serum through cooperative interactions. In nontargeted screening, the material minimizes matrix interference, expands detectable feature coverage, and enables broad recovery of diverse chemical hazards, providing a powerful cleanup strategy for LC ...

CA9‐Targeted PET Imaging for Noninvasive Discrimination of Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma and Associated Tumor Biological Features

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CA9‐targeted PET imaging could be a noninvasive approach to characterize clear cell renal cell carcinoma and associated tumor biology. PET uptake correlates with tumor CA9 expression and is linked to angiogenic activity, immune remodeling, and metabolic reprogramming.

Gut Microbial Release of Ferulic Acid From Germinated Quinoa Alleviates Obesity‐Associated Cognitive Impairment by Activating Hippocampal Mitophagy Associated with PINK1/Parkin Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Liberation of ferulic acid by gut microbial feruloyl esterase mediates cognitive enhancement of germinated quinoa (GQF) on obese mice. Ferulic acid enriched in GQF is released by gut microbes Roseburia hominis and R. intestinalis and subsequently mediates the neuroprotective effects of GQF on obesity‐induced cognitive decline by activating hippocampal ...

Glutathione metabolism-linked ferroptosis in human seminoma: a spatial multi-omics mapping study

open access: yesRedox Biology
Testicular cancer is the most common solid tumor in young men aged 15-44 years, with seminoma being a major subtype. To elucidate its poorly understood molecular mechanisms, we performed integrated spatial transcriptomics (ST) and spatial metabolomics ...
