ABSTRACT Background SOX1 antibody‐positive paraneoplastic neurological syndromes (PNS) exhibit significant population‐specific clinical heterogeneity. While Western cohorts predominantly manifest Lambert‐Eaton myasthenic syndrome (65%–80%), comprehensive clinical characterization and treatment response data in Asian populations remain critically ...

Energy spectra of 3He-rich solar energetic particles associated with coronal waves
In addition to their anomalous abundances, 3He-rich solar energetic particles (SEPs) show puzzling energy spectral shapes varying from rounded forms to power laws where the later are characteristics of shock acceleration. Solar sources of these particles

Accelerating the Induced Dimension Reduction method using spectral information
The induced dimension reduction method (IDR(s)) [\textit{P. Sonneveld} and \textit{M. B. van Gijzen}, SIAM J. Sci. Comput. 31, No. 2, 1035--1062 (2008; Zbl 1190.65053)] is a short-recurrences Krylov method to solve non-symmetric systems of linear equations. In this work, the method is accelerated using spectral information.

Meningovascular Inflammation in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy‐Related Cortical Superficial Siderosis
ABSTRACT The role of inflammation in cortical superficial siderosis (cSS), a marker of cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) linked to high hemorrhage risk, is unclear. We examined 15 patients with cSS using 3 T post‐contrast vessel wall MRI (VWI) and CSF analysis.

First order Fermi acceleration driven by magnetic reconnection
A box model is used to study first order Fermi acceleration driven by magnetic reconnection. It is shown, at least in this simple model, that the spectral index of the accelerated particles is related to the total compression in the same way as in ...

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.

Laser-driven ion accelerators: Spectral control, monoenergetic ions and new acceleration mechanisms
Los Alamos National Laboratory short pulse experiments have shown using various target cleaning techniques such that heavy ion beams of different charge states can be produced. Furthermore, by controlling the thickness of light ions on the rear of the target, monoenergetic ion pulses can be generated. The spectral shape of the accelerated particles can
