Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Obscuring clouds playing hide-and-seek in the Active Nucleus H0557-385

open access: yes, 2008
This paper reports on two XMM-Newton observations of the Seyfert 1 Galaxy H0557-385 obtained in 2006, which show the source at an historical low flux state, more than a factor of 10 lower than a previous XMM-Newton look in 2002.

A Graph-Based Method for Molecular Spectral Line Identification

open access: yesIntelligent Computing
To address the high computational cost associated with molecular identification in spectral lines, we propose a graph-based feature learning framework to determine the molecular composition of spectral lines that incorporates rule-driven and node-level ...

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1398-1419, June 2026.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

A comparison of field-line resonances observed at the Goose Bay and Wick radars [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Geophysicae, 1997
Previous observations with the Goose Bay HF coherent-scatter radar have revealed structured spectral peaks at ultra-low frequencies. The frequencies of these spectral peaks have been demonstrated to be extremely consistent from day to day.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1453-1472, June 2026.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Tomographic RF Spectroscopy of a Trapped Fermi Gas at Unitarity

open access: yes, 2007
We present spatially resolved radio-frequency spectroscopy of a trapped Fermi gas with resonant interactions and observe a spectral gap at low temperatures.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Determination of Tin by Spectral Lines with Different Sensitivity of Alternating Current Arc Emission Spectroscopy

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2013
Based on the advantages of simultaneous determination of multiple elements by using different spectral lines of Alternating Current Arc Emission Spectroscopy, samples with a large range of Sn contents were simultaneously determined by the major spectral ...

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1473-1493, June 2026.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...
