The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Spectral integration and spectral theory for non‐Archimedean Banach spaces [PDF]
Banach algebras over arbitrary complete non‐Archimedean fields are considered such that operators may be nonanalytic. There are different types of Banach spaces over non‐Archimedean fields. We have determined the spectrum of some closed commutative subalgebras of the Banach algebra ℒ(E) of the continuous linear operators on a free Banach space E ...

The integration of a pixelated Fabry–Pérot filter array onto the image sensor enables on-chip snapshot multispectral imaging, significantly reducing the size and weight of conventional spectral imaging equipment. However, a traditional Fabry–Pérot cavity,

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Spectrally distinguishing symmetric spaces I
The action of the subgroup $\operatorname{G}_2$ of $\operatorname{SO}(7)$ (resp.\ $\operatorname{Spin}(7)$ of $\operatorname{SO}(8)$) on the Grassmannian space $M=\frac{\operatorname{SO}(7)}{\operatorname{SO}(5)\times\operatorname{SO}(2)}$ (resp.\ $M=\frac{\operatorname{SO}(8)}{\operatorname{SO}(5)\times\operatorname{SO}(3)}$) is still transitive.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

The Instrument Design of the DLR Earth Sensing Imaging Spectrometer (DESIS)
Whether for identification and characterization of materials or for monitoring of the environment, space-based hyperspectral instruments are very useful. Hyperspectral instruments measure several dozens up to hundreds of spectral bands.
