Structures and spectroscopic characteristics of barium-sulfur-telluro-borate glasses: Role of Sm3+ and Dy3+ Co-activation

, 2020
This paper reports the preparation of some samarium ions (Sm3+) and dysprosium ions (Dy3+) co-doped barium-sulfur-telluro-borate glasses using the standard melt quenching. The influence of the co-doping on the structures and spectroscopic traits of these

Impedance spectroscopic characteristics of Bi2Fe2W3O15 ceramics

Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2013
Bi2Fe2W3O15 was prepared in the polycrystalline form using a standard solid-state reaction technique in order to study its dielectric and electrical properties. The formation of a single-phase compound was confirmed by preliminary X-ray structural studies of the material.

Spectroscopic characteristic of conical bubble luminescence

Chinese Physics, 2005
The conical bubble sonoluminescence (CBSL) from the collapse of the bubble was observed in an improved U-tube apparatus. The emitted light energy of a single CBSL flash was measured to be ~ 1.4mJ. The pulse width was about 100?s. The spectra of luminescence were continuum superimposed with the spectral bands from the excited-state C2, CN and CH.

Spectroscopic Characteristics of Neutral Atoms

1985
Numerical data are presented for low-lying atomic terms, oscillator strengths of the most intense optical transitions, radiative lifetimes of low-lying resonant excited states and Rydberg levels of atoms with one valence electron and for typical parameters of atomic metastable states.

Spectroscopic characteristics of Sm3+-doped alkali fluorophosphate glasses

Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, 2006
Optical absorption, luminescence and lifetime measurements of Sm(3+)-doped alkali fluorophosphate glasses with molar compositions of 50(NaPO(3))(6)+10TeO(2)+20AlF(3)+19RF+1Sm(2)O(3) (R=Li, Na and K) are described. The variation of optical properties with glass composition plays a dominant role in the determination of efficient laser materials. From the

Structural and spectroscopic characteristics of synthetic hydrohaematite

Journal of Materials Science, 1985
In order to investigate the identity of water-containing haematite, a method of preparation has been elaborated which leads to samples of hydrohaematite which are “structurally pure” and free of amorphous iron hydroxide. Differential thermal analysis by a lack of endothermic effect at 423 to 473 K on the DTA-curves and by a steady fall of the TG curves

Spectroscopic and laser characteristics of Er,Cr:YSGG

IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1988
The spectroscopic and laser properties of crystal Er,Cr:YSGG are discussed and it is shown that excitation is efficiently transferred from chromium to erbium. Laser operations at 2796 nm are achieved with much lower thresholds than in other erbium-doped crystals. >

Spectroscopic characteristics of doped nanoporous aluminum oxide

Materials Science and Engineering: B, 2004
In this work, we present photoluminescence characterization of rare earth ion doped nanoporous aluminum oxide synthesized by anodization process in different aqueous electrolyte solutions. We found that the luminescence of doped aluminum oxide strongly depends on the synthesis medium. When synthesized in inorganic acid only rare earth ions fluorescence

Terahertz spectroscopic characteristic of metallic slit array

2009 34th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves, 2009
Terahertz (THz) transmission spectrum of metallic slit array is studied by means of terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. Frequency-selective transmission at terahertz frequencies of metallic slit array is shown experimentally and analyzed by numerical simulation.
