Developing Micro/Nanostructured Fluidic Mixing Technology for Biomedical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review critically evaluates how micro/nanostructured mixing technologies are redefining biomedical research. By synergizing fundamental analysis, numerical modeling, structural design, and external field manipulation, these systems attain unprecedented control over mass transport.

DMS‐MaPseq and DREEM Analyses Implicate the Critical Role of RNA Structural Dynamics in Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus Pathogenicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
RNA structural profiling of Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus by DMS‐MaPseq and DREEM analyses uncover that viral genome‐wide RSS is highly complicated and heterogeneous, with alternative RSSs widely distributed across the genome. Notably, the viral 3’ tRNA‐like structure adopts alternative conformations in vivo.

SO(5) superconductor in a Zeeman magnetic field: Phase diagram and thermodynamic properties

open access: yes, 2002
In this paper we present calculations of the SO(5) quantum rotor theory of high-T$_{c}$ superconductivity in Zeeman magnetic field. We use the spherical approach for five-component quantum rotors in three-dimensional lattice to obtain formulas for ...

Disorder‐Driven Fast Na+ Transport: From Crystalline to Amorphous Networks in the Mixed‐Anion NaTaOxCl6−2x Oxychlorides

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen substitution in NaTaOxCl6‐2x drives structural evolution from isolated [TaCl6]– octahedra, through oxygen‐bridged [Ta2OCl10]2– dimers, toward extended trans‐[TaO2Cl4]3– chain‐like arrangements. At intermediate compositions, zero‐dimensional corner‐sharing motifs are proposed to create a flexible, disordered framework that peaks ionic ...

Design and control of a permanent magnet spherical wheel motor

open access: yesETRI Journal, 2019
We present a permanent magnet–based spherical wheel motor that can be used in omnidirectional mobility applications. The proposed motor consists of a ball‐shaped rotor with a magnetic dipole and a hemispherical shell with circumferential air‐core coils ...

Patient‐Mounted Neuro Optical Coherence Tomography for Targeted Minimally Invasive Micro‐Resolution Volumetric Imaging in Brain In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
Herein, a patient‐mounted neuro optical coherence tomography system that integrates a 5 degrees‐of‐freedom skull‐mounted robot (Skullbot) with a 0.6 mm neuroendoscope for targeted, minimally invasive deep brain imaging, is developed. The system offers high‐resolution imaging with precise deployment, demonstrated through successful tumor imaging in a ...

Bohr Hamiltonian with a potential having spherical and deformed minima at the same depth

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
A solution for the Bohr-Mottelson Hamiltonian with an anharmonic oscillator potential of sixth order, obtained through a diagonalization in a basis of Bessel functions, is presented.
