Adding Fe _3 O _4 nanoparticles to composites of [Fe(Htrz) _2 (trz)](BF _4 ) spin-crossover polymer and polyaniline (PANI) drives a phase separation of both and restores the molecular structure and cooperative effects of the spin-crossover polymer ...

In this paper, we report on the synthesis, crystal structure, and photomagnetic properties of the spin-crossover salt of formula [Fe(bpp)2](C6H4NO2)2·4H2O (1·4H2O) (bpp = 2,6-bis(pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine; C6H4NO2− = nicotinate anion).

Microscopic models of spin crossover
The basic model for thermal spin crossover (SCO) is discussed in its microscopic and thermodynamic formulation. Compared to the basic model, its more elaborated forms formulated in course of almost 50 years are briefly reviewed with emphasis on their additional features.

A “de‐doping” strategy positions mixed protonic–electronic conductors (MPECs) as adaptive neuromorphic platforms with dynamically tunable transport. Co‐BAND achieves giant conductivity modulation (>106) and chemically tunable synaptic plasticity. Analogous to biological neuromodulation, solvent vapors dynamically reprogram the device's learning rules ...

Spin Hall and Edelstein effects in a ballistic quantum dot with Rashba spin-orbit coupling
We study spin-resolved transport in a ballistic quantum dot with Rashba spin–orbit coupling, focusing on charge-to-spin conversion and spin Hall effect. In the regime where the dot size is comparable to the Fermi wavelength, we identify a clear crossover

High Free‐Volume Imidazole‐Based Ionomers for High‐Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells
High free‐volume imidazole‐based ionomers (PF4IM‐72) enable enhanced phosphoric acid uptake and efficient proton transport, delivering peak power densities of 0.645 W cm−2 at 160 °C and 0.838 W cm−2 at 200 °C in HT‐PEMFCs. This work highlights a promising platform for next‐generation ionomers with improved high‐temperature performance and stability ...

Periprosthetic joint infection establishes a sophisticated immunosuppressive network between CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSCs and Bregs, inducing profound CD8+ T cell paralysis. Alendronate effectively disrupts this CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSC–Breg axis by targeting STAT3, thereby restoring local immune surveillance.

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.
