Systematically Investigating the Structural Variety of Crystalline and Kaleidoscopic Vortex Lattices by Using Laser Beam Arrays

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
We theoretically demonstrate that a family of vortex-lattice structures can be flexibly generated using a multi-beam interference approach. Numerical calculation presents a variety of crystalline and kaleidoscopic patterns.

Surface-plasmon-coupled emission microscopy with a spiral phase plate. [PDF]

open access: yesOpt Lett, 2010
The surface plasmon-coupled emission microscope provides high sensitivity for surface imaging. However, it suffers from a distorted donut-shape point-spread function (PSF).

Generation and Detection of Optical Vortices with Multiple Cascaded Spiral Phase Plates

open access: yesPhotonics, 2022
Spiral phase plate (SPP) is the widely used method in the generation of vortex beam (VB) with fixed topological charges (TCs) for specific wavelength. Although VB with large TCs can be directly generated by using the SPP with high vortex order.

SPATIAL DYNAMICS OF THE RADIALLY POLARIZED VORTEX BEAMS OF TERAHERTZ-RANGE RADIATION SUBJECTED TO TIGHT FOCUSING [PDF]

open access: yesRadio Physics and Radio Astronomy
Subject and Purpose. The paper concerns the effect of tight focusing of the terahertz-range vortex laser beams, formed byradially polarized TM0m modes of a dielectric waveguide-based resonator, that results from beam’s passage through a spiral phase ...

FREE-SPACE PROPAGATION OF TERAHERTZ LASER VORTEX BEAMS [PDF]

open access: yesRadio Physics and Radio Astronomy
Subject and Purpose. Currently, numerous ideas and different methods have been in growth for generating vortex beams — areas of the circular motion of the electromagnetic wave energy flow around the so-called phase singularity points caused by a ...

Simple experimental realization of optical Hilbert Hotel using scalar and vector fractional vortex beams

open access: yesAPL Photonics, 2023
Historically, infinity was long considered a vague concept—boundless, endless, larger than the largest—without any quantifiable mathematical foundation. This view changed in the 1800s through the pioneering work of Georg Cantor, who showed that infinite ...
