Improved Efficiency of Carbon‐Based Perovskite Solar Cells by Using Alternative Solvent for Doping‐Free P3HT

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 9, Issue 11, June 2025.
The performance of low‐temperature‐processed carbon‐based perovskite solar cells is significantly improved by the introduction of a doping‐free poly(3‐hexylthiophene) hole‐transport layer deposited from a chloroform rather than a chlorobenzene‐based solution.

The Roles of Ion Migration on Perovskite Solar Cell Operational Stability at Various Illumination Intensities

open access: yesSolar RRL, EarlyView.
Impedance spectroscopy was measured at incrementing times during maximum power point stability tests of perovskite solar cells. An increased ionic density and mobility was identified as first signs of degradation, affecting the recombination mechanisms and shunt current leakage.

Bulk Passivation of Lead Halide Perovskites: The Key to High‐Performance Indoor Photovoltaics at Very Low‐Light Intensities

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 9, Issue 11, June 2025.
Lead halide perovskites (LHPs) are vulnerable to performance decreasing defects that are more profound under indoor illumination, due to the reduced amount of photogenerated carriers. Utilizing sodium thioglycolate as a bifunctional bulk passivator to passivate acceptor‐like defects and fill the donor‐like defects leads to improved performance under ...

Intensifying Chelation of Pb‐Related Defects for Enhancing Stability in Halide Perovskite Thin‐Film Solar Cells

open access: yesSolar RRL, EarlyView.
The chelation‐based passivation of Pb‐related defect utilizing chelating agents with varying numbers and types of functional groups is systemically investigated. All chelating agents demonstrated passivation effects; however, citric acid was found to be the most effective.

Enhanced Electromagnetic Wave Absorption in Mapbi3 Hybrid Perovskite Through a Defect‐Tunable Green Synthesis

open access: yesSmall Structures, EarlyView.
Mechanosynthesis allowed synthesizing and providing large amount of high‐quality MAPbI3 powders with defects tuned by grinding time. Mechanosynthesized MAPbI3 for 4 h dispersed in a polymeric matrix led to a marked enhancement in dielectric loss at 11.4 GHz, which makes this green synthesis approach promising for producing hybrid perovskites with ...

Cascade Bridge Interfacial Design for Stable and Sustainable Flexible Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesSusMat, EarlyView.
A cascade bridge interlayer of ZIF‐8 is constructed at the ZnO/perovskite interface functioning as a passivator of the surface defects thus improving the device stability and a trap of mobile Pb2+ ions at the interface thus preventing Pb leakage and enhancing power conversion efficiency by modulating the energy band alignment via the piezo‐phototronic ...
