Effect of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Stimulation on Splenomegaly and Immunoglobulin E Levels in 2,4-Dinitrochlorobenzene-Induced Atopic Dermatitis Mouse Model

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Effects of pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) on immunological factors in a 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB)-induced atopic dermatitis (AD) model were investigated. Hairless mice were randomly assigned to control, acetone and olive oil solution-treated (

Altered Sympathetic-to-Immune Cell Signaling via β2-Adrenergic Receptors in Adjuvant Arthritis

open access: yesClinical and Developmental Immunology, 2013
Adjuvant-induced arthritic (AA) differentially affects norepinephrine concentrations in immune organs, and in vivo β-adrenergic receptor (β-AR) agonist treatment distinctly regulates ex vivo cytokine profiles in different immune organs.

BCMA‐Engineered Dendritic Cell‐Derived Exosomes as Bi‐Functional Therapeutics Orchestrating Cytokine Sequestration and Immune Activation for Multiple Myeloma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐function cell‐free therapeutic based on DC2.4 cell‐derived exosomes engineered to display BCMA. (Left) Soluble Ligand Sequestration (Decoy Function): DB Exo act as molecular decoys that predominantly sequester soluble APRIL with partial BAFF attenuation, effectively disrupting the NF‐κB survival signaling axis and suppressing myeloma cell ...

Characteristics of Allergic Pulmonary Inflammation in CXCR3Knockout Mice Sensitized and Challenged with House Dust Mite Protein. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2016
Chemokine C-X-C motif receptor 3 (CXCR3) is a chemokine receptor that is mainly expressed by activated T lymphocytes. T cells play important roles in allergic pulmonary inflammation, which is a hallmark of asthma and elicits the localized accumulation of

Supramolecular Assembly of Stepped‐Persistent ROS Nanogenerator for Sustained Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ROS catalytic systems often fail to achieve both effective tumor elimination and persistent immune activation due to their monotonous ROS production profiles. A stepped‐persistent ROS nanogenerator was developed by supramolecularly assembling multiple ROS generation modules within a nanofiber structure to simultaneously extend ROS generation duration ...

Senescent Cell Derived Artificial Vesicle‐Based Senolytic Sonovaccine Platform with Augmented Lymph Node Delivery and Antigen Cross‐Presentation Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A senolytic sonovaccine platform (SenoVac) is developed, in which senescent cell‐derived vesicles serve as broad senescent cell antigen reservior. The “2‐step” click chemistry strategy for effective lymph node delivery, and ultrasound‐triggered endosomal escape to boost cross‐presentation, ensures efficient senescent cell clearance and disease ...

Effect of Vanadium on Splenocyte Apoptosis in Broilers

open access: yesMedicinal chemistry, 2012
A total of 420 one-day-old healthy broilers were divided into six groups. There were 70 broilers in each group. The broilers were fed on a corn-soybean basal diet as a control diet (vanadium 0.073 mg/kg) or the same diet amended to contain 5 mg/kg, 15 mg/kg, 30 mg/kg, 45 mg/kg and 60 mg/kg vanadium supplied as ammonium metavanadate for 42 days.
