Asymptotic spreading of predator-prey populations in a shifting environment
Inspired by a recent study associating shifting temperature conditions with changes in the efficiency with which predators convert prey to offspring, we propose a predator prey model of reaction-diffusion type to analyze the consequence of such effects ...

Spreading dynamics on networks: the role of burstiness, topology and non-stationarity
Spreading on networks is influenced by a number of factors, including different parts of the inter-event time distribution (IETD), the topology of the network and non-stationarity. In order to understand the role of these factors we study the SI model on

Asymptotic Behavior for Radially Symmetric Solutions of a Logistic Equation with a Free Boundary
In this paper we investigate a logistic equation with a new free boundary condition appearing in ecology, we aim to describe the spreading of a new or invasive species by studying the asymptotic behavior of the radially symmetric solutions of the problem.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Translating whole‐genome doubling into precision medicine in cancer
Whole‐genome doubling creates a WGD‐positive tumor state characterized by persistent chromosomal instability, karyotypic diversification, and cellular stress. These same biological pressures drive aggressive tumor evolution while exposing therapeutic vulnerabilities, providing a rationale for WGD‐informed precision medicine. Whole‐genome doubling (WGD)

Determiner spreading (or polydefiniteness or article doubling) is the phenomenon whereby the definite article appears before both the head noun and adjectival modifiers in definite noun phrases.

On a free boundary problem for a two-species weak competition system [PDF]
We study a Lotka–Volterra type weak competition model with a free boundary in a one-dimensional habitat. The main objective is to understand the asymptotic behavior of two competing species spreading via a free boundary.
