ABSTRACT Soil salinity is a major abiotic stress affecting rice production globally. Previously, one promising salinity‐tolerant line (SL535) was identified through screening of Nona Bokra‐CSSLs with a Koshihikari background. In 2016, 102 F2 individuals derived from SL535/Koshihikari were evaluated under long‐term salt stress, with salt treatment ...

Molecular Characterization of Wheat Genotypes Using SSR Markers
Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) rusts are the most destructive and widespread among all other diseases of wheat because of their wide distribution, and their capacity to form new races that can attack previously resistant cultivars which result in serious yield losses.

ABSTRACT Fruit size is not only a crucial fitness trait in plant evolution but also an important agronomic target in crop domestication and improvement, yet its regulatory mechanisms remain poorly characterized. Here, we identified an F‐box E3 ubiquitin ligase gene, GhEBS1 (ENLARGED BOLL SIZE 1), as a positive regulator of cotton boll size via map ...

Molecular diversity analysis in Wheat genotypes using SSR markers
Molecular diversity of the seven wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes was evaluated using 50 SSR primers. Genetic distances were calculated using unweighted pair group of arithmetic mean (UPGMA) procedure. A high degree of genetic polymorphism was observed among the wheat varieties with average genetic polymorphism 70%. SSR diversity data
