ROSE SMALL-SCALE SHOCK REACTIVITY TEST (SSRT) EQUATION-A SIMPLE LINEAR CORRELATION BETWEEN THE DENT VOLUME IN A SSRT AND THE HEAT OF DETONATION

International Journal of Energetic Materials and Chemical Propulsion, 2023
A simple linear correlation between the resulting dent volume in the small-scale shock reactivity test (SSRT) and the heat of detonation is presented. This correlation can be used as an alternative to the SSRT to determine the energy a material can release.

SSRT: First results of millisecond spike observations

Space Science Reviews, 1994
We present the results of the first observations of spike-like phenomena with the Siberian Solar Radio Telescope (SSRT) in the one-dimensional mode at the frequency of 5.7 GHz with high spatial and temporal resolutions.

SCC Maps for Low-Alloy Steels by SSRT Method

CORROSION 1998, 1998
Abstract Low alloy steels have been used as the pressure boundary component materials of LWR primary coolant systems. So it is very important to clarify the stress corrosion cracking behavior of the alloys. The slow strain rate tensile test(SSRT) was carried out on three heats of heavy-thick low alloy steels in high temperature water ...

Dosimetry protocol for the forthcoming clinical trials in synchrotron stereotactic radiation therapy (SSRT)

Medical Physics, 2011
Purpose:An adequate dosimetry protocol for synchrotron radiation and the specific features of the ID17 Biomedical Beamline at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility are essential for the preparation of the forthcoming clinical trials in the synchrotron stereotactic radiation therapy (SSRT). The main aim of this work is the definition of a suitable

Electrochemical Impedance Characteristics of Sintered 7075 Aluminum Alloy Under Ssrt Condition

Archives of Metallurgy and Materials, 2013
Powder metallurgy (P/M) process has the advantage of better formability to fabricate complex shape products without machining and welding. And recently this P/M process has been applied to the production of aluminum alloys. The P/M aluminum alloys thus produced also have received considerable interest because of their fine and homogeneous structure ...

SSRT for Hydrogen Water Chemistry Verification in BWRs

1993
The slow strain rate test (SSRT) has been used as a laboratory tool to investigate the susceptibility of austenitic stainless steels and other materials to intergranular stress corrosion cracking (IGSCC). During operation, IGSCC has occurred in the recirculation piping of Boiling Water Reactors (BWRs).

Study on the Hydrogen Embrittlement of Aermet100 Using Hydrogen Permeation and SSRT Techniques

Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A, 2017
Aermet100 steel suffers greatly from hydrogen embrittlement due to its ultra-high strength. During the corrosion process as part of its service life, reduction of H+ in an acidic environment and H2O in a deaerated near-neutral environment are the main sources of hydrogen generation.

Corrosion Behavior of Pure Titanium Produced by MIM Process under SSRT Condition

Materials Science Forum, 2007
Metal injection molding (MIM) process has the advantage of better formability of three dimensional complex shape products with high density and high performance properties compared to the ingot metallurgy (I/M) process. Two kinds of pure titanium specimens, i.e., the first one is prepared by the I/M process and the second one is prepared by MIM process
