Stochastic Stabilization of Itô Stochastic Systems with Markov Jumping and Linear Fractional Uncertainty

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2013
For a class of Itô stochastic linear systems with the Markov jumping and linear fractional uncertainty, the stochastic stabilization problem is investigated via state feedback and dynamic output feedback, respectively.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Feedback Stabilization of Quasi-One-Sided Lipschitz Nonlinear Discrete-Time Systems with Reduced-Order Observer

open access: yesMathematics
The feedback stabilization problem for nonlinear discrete-time systems with a reduced-order observer is investigated, in which the nonlinear terms of the systems satisfy the quasi-one-sided Lipschitz condition.

Analysis and Design of Robust Positivity and Stability for Continuous-Time Linear Uncertain Systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2015
This paper deals with the analysis and design of positivity and stability of linear continuous conic systems. First, two robustness analysis theorems are proposed for the systems with state-feedback.

Asymptotic Stabilization of Delayed Linear Fractional-Order Systems Subject to State and Control Constraints

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
Studies have shown that fractional calculus can describe and characterize a practical system satisfactorily. Therefore, the stabilization of fractional-order systems is of great significance.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Optimal periodic output feedback control: a continuous-time approach

open access: yes, 2007
: This paper addresses the problem of optimal static output feedback control of linear periodic systems. The proposed approach, which allows to deal with both stable and unstable open loop systems, relies on a continuous-time formulation of the control ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Finite-Time Simultaneous Stabilization for Stochastic Port-Controlled Hamiltonian Systems over Delayed and Fading Channels

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In this paper, a finite-time simultaneous stabilization problem is investigated for a set of stochastic port-controlled Hamiltonian (PCH) systems over delayed and fading noisy channels. The feedback control signals transmitted via a communication network

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
