This study evaluated the suspension stability of passion fruit nectar formulated with different concentrations of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). Passion fruit nectars with 0, 0.02, 0.1 and 0.2% (w/v) CMC were placed at rest in test tubes at room ...

Decomposition Theorem for Perverse sheaves on Artin stacks over finite fields
We generalize the decomposition theorem for perverse sheaves to Artin stacks with affine stabilizers over finite fields.Comment: 10 pages; submitted.

K-stability Implies CM-stability [PDF]
In this paper, we prove that any polarized K-stable manifold is CM-stable. This extends what I did for Fano manifolds in my 2012 paper.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Classifying Finite Dimensional Cubulations of Tubular Groups
A tubular group is a group that acts on a tree with $\mathbb{Z}^2$ vertex stabilizers and $\mathbb{Z}$ edge stabilizers. This paper develops further a criterion of Wise and determines when a tubular group acts freely on a finite dimensional CAT(0) cube ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

In this paper theD-stability properties of some classes of perturbed collocation methods are investigated. Among others we show the implicit Runge-Kutta methods described by Ehle-Chipman to beD-stable. We also give implicit Runge-Kutta methods that are bothD-stable andA-stable but notB-stable.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...
