Stack Sorting with Increasing and Decreasing Stacks [PDF]
We introduce a sorting machine consisting of $k+1$ stacks in series: the first $k$ stacks can only contain elements in decreasing order from top to bottom, while the last one has the opposite restriction. This device generalizes the $\mathfrak{DI}$ machine introduced by Rebecca Smith, which studies the case $k=1$.

Some Properties of Generalized Topologies in GTSs
In this article, we introduce one new generalized topology and investigate its properties in a generalized topological space. Also, we give various properties of some generalized topologies defined in a generalized topological space.

Scientific Opinion on application (EFSA-GMO-NL-2010-77) for the placing on the market of herbicide-tolerant genetically modified cotton GHB614 × LLCotton25 for food and feed uses, import and processing under Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 from Bayer CropScience [PDF]
Cotton GHB614 × LLCotton25 was produced by conventional crossing. The EFSA GMO Panel previously assessed the two single cotton events GHB614 and LLCotton25 and did not identify safety concerns. Integrity of the inserts was retained in the two-event stack

Flat-tubular solid oxide fuel cells and stacks: a review
Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) offer numerous advantages in terms of high efficiency and clean electrochemcial energy conversion devices. However, owing to high operation temperature, this technology is restricted to stationary applications and leads to ...

Stratifying Quotient Stacks and Moduli Stacks [PDF]
Recent results in geometric invariant theory (GIT) for non-reductive linear algebraic group actions allow us to stratify quotient stacks of the form [X/H], where X is a projective scheme and H is a linear algebraic group with internally graded unipotent radical acting linearly on X, in such a way that each stratum [S/H] has a geometric quotient S/H ...

GA-stacking: Evolutionary stacked generalization [PDF]
Stacking is a widely used technique for combining classifiers and improving prediction accuracy. Early research in Stacking showed that selecting the right classifiers, their parameters and the meta-classifiers was a critical issue. Most of the research on this topic hand picks the right combination of classifiers and their parameters.
