Device to Circuit Co‐Design Utilizing High‐Performance PEALD Indium‐Gallium‐Zinc Oxide Thin‐Film Transistor Enabling Technology Node Scaling in Monolithic 3D Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This article presents a holistic investigation of M3D‐compatible oxide semiconductor technology using PEALD‐fabricated IGZO TFTs, spanning device‐level characterization, TCAD Modeling, circuit design, and scaled‐node projections. It demonstrates high field‐effect mobility (up to 116.35 cm2 V−1·s−1), robust reliability (△VTH < 0.15 V), low variation ...

CD168 Identifies Proliferating Pancreatic Islet Cells in Murine and Human

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies CD168 as a conserved surface marker for proliferating β‐cells in mouse, human islets, and pancreatic islet tumors. CD168⁺ cells show high proliferation and low insulin expression. CD168+ cells form mostly uni‐β lineage clones, and some of the clones are multi‐lineage.

Astrocytic PERK Deficiency Drives Prefrontal Circuit Dysfunction and Depressive‐Like Behaviors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chen et al. show that the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress sensor PERK is downregulated in prefrontal cortex (PFC) astrocytes in major depressive disorder and in chronic‐stress mouse models. In young mice, astrocyte‐specific PERK loss reduces the synaptogenic cue thrombospondin‐1 (TSP1), leading to synaptic and circuit deficits and depressive‐like ...

Novel Vascularized Human Liver Organoids for Modeling Alcohol‐Induced Liver Injury and Developing Hepatoprotective Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study successfully engineered vascularized liver organoids (3HLOs) by co‐culturing human reprogrammed hepatocyte‐like cells (hrHLs) with human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and human umbilical mesenchymal stem cells (HUMSCs). Upon implantation, the 3HLOs established functional vascular anastomosis with the host circulation and ...
