Chemometric‐Driven Spectral Fingerprinting for Non‐Destructive Quality Assessment of Mangoes
Visible–NIR spectroscopy using a compact open‐source spectrophotometer successfully tracked mango ripening by capturing wavelength‐specific changes linked to acidity, sugars, pigments, and DA index, enabling accurate non‐destructive prediction of ripening stages during ambient storage.

Obesity and hypertension co‐exist and share molecular mechanisms in terms of dietary therapy, modulated by food bioactive constituents. ABSTRACT Obesity and hypertension are among the most pressing global public health challenges. They frequently co‐exist, with obesity‐related hypertension accounting for an estimated 75% of the hypertension burden ...

Abstract Genome–phenome association (GPA) prediction can broaden the understanding of biological mechanisms underlying complex phenotypic traits (e.g., diseases and agronomic traits). Traditional deep matrix factorization (DMF)‐based GPA methods can integrate multiple data types and uncover nonlinear associations but often rely on low‐dimensional ...

Nitrogen‐Starved Wheat: A Multi‐Omics Perspective From Epigenome Regulation to Grain Quality
This review establishes epigenetic regulation, specifically H3K27ac and H3K27me3 dynamics at nitrogen transporter, assimilation, and storage protein loci, as a principal determinant of cultivar‐specific nitrogen use efficiency in hexaploid wheat, independent of DNA sequence variation, and identifies the rhizosphere microbiome as an integral but ...

Abstract Southern corn leaf blight (SCLB) is caused by the fungal pathogen Bipolaris maydis (syn. Cochliobolus heterostrophus Drechsler) and is a common disease of fall crops of sweet corn. Phenotyping for SCLB resistance is performed through visual scoring, which is subjective and may limit genetic gain for this quantitative trait.
