Fiber design for high-power low-cost Yb:Al-doped fiber laser operating at 980nm [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We investigated an Yb:Al-doped depressed-clad hollow optical fiber (DCHOF) for cladding-pumped 980nm laser operation. With a careful design, the nonzero fundamental-mode cutoff characteristics of a DCHOF allows the competing 1030-1060nm emission to be ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Steady State and Accelerated Decay Rate Evaluations of Membrane Electrode Assembly of PEM Fuel Cells

open access: yes, 2015
Durability of Membrane Electrode Assembly for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells was evaluated in both steady state and accelerated decay modes. Steady state mode was carried out at constant current of 800mA/cm2 for 2500 hours using air as cathode feed ...

On Steady-State Cornering Equilibria for Wheeled Vehicles with Drift [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this work we derive steady-state cornering conditions for a single-track vehicle model without restricting the operation of the tires to their linear region (i.e. allowing the vehicle to drift).

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Simulation research on zero-module characteristics of single-phase grounding fault in mine power supply system

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2018
For poor actual protection effect of existing line selection methods based on characteristic quantity of single-phase grounding fault, a simulation model of mine power supply system was established in RTDS/RSCAD real-time digital simulation system taking

THE OPERATION IN THE STEADY STATE AND SQUEEZING OF QUANTUM NOISE IN TWO-MODE TWO-PHOTON CORRELATED-SPONTANEOUS-EMISSION LASERS

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 1997
Operation in the steady state and squeezing of quantum noise in two-mode two-photon correlated-spontaneous-emission lasers(CEL) are studied via nonliner quantum theory. It is shown that the two-mode two-photon CEL exhibits lasing without inversion and two-mode hysteresis even without triggering. The features of squeezing of quantum noise in the relative ...

Limitations of Bifurcation Diagrams in Boost Converter Steady-State Response Identification

open access: yes, 2017
Steady-state responses of the boost converter operating in discontinuous conduction mode of operation are identified by using bifurcation diagrams as a typical simulation tool for identification of steady-state responses.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.
